Lal Singh visits GMC, enquires well beings of border firing victims: Lal Singh

Minister for Health and Medical Education Choudhary Lal Singh today visited Government Medical College, Jammu and enquired about the well-being of Pargwal and R. S Pura cross border firing victims.Mission Director National Health Mission Dr. Yash Pal Sharma, Medical Superintendent of GMCH Dr. Ravinder Rattan Pal, Chief Medical Officer Health Services Dr. Robinder Khajuria besides other senior doctors of GMC accompanied the Minister.The Minister directed the hospital administration to ensure free healthcare facilities to those injured in border firing at Pargwal and R S Pura are undergoing treatment in the hospital.Later, Choudhary Lal Singh also visited Emergency Ward and Recovery Ward of GMCH and inspected the medicare facilities being provided to the patients by the hospital administration. He directed the hospital administration to provide best possible treatment to the patients for their early recovery.

He directed the hospital administration to ensure round the clock sanitation in and around the hospital by pressing into service the adequate number of Safaikaramcharies. He stressed on the medicos and para-medicos to remain punctual to their duties and cautioned against any complaint in this regard.The Minister also directed  for ensuring Dress Code by the doctors and para-medics during the duty hours as a measure of discipline and medical ethics.
