Naib-Tehsildar Bahu,Rakh Bahu transferred, seven Girdawars attached

On the directions of Minister for Revenue Javaid Mustafa Mir, the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal today transferred Shabir Ahmed Naib Tehsildar Bahu to Niabet Koteranka (Kandi) Rajouri, Abdul Shakoor Naib Tehsildar Rakh Bahu to  Niabet Ratanpur Sarara and Bashir Ahmed Malik Naib Tehsildar Ratanpur Sarara (Samba) to Naibet Bahu vide order No. DIV ComJmu (Estt) 14 of 2015 dated:11-07-2015.Further all seven Girdawars working in Tehsil Bahu against one sanctioned post have also been attached in the office of Divisional Commissioner vide order No. 13/2015 dated:11-07-2015. The Girdawers attached are Bodh Raj Girdawar BCG Tehsil Office Jammu South, Mohd Maqbool Girdawar in the office of Settlement Commissioner, Jammu, Karam Dutt Khan Girdawar in the office of Settlement Commissioner, Jammu, Mohammad Ashraf Girdawar Circle Bahu, Mohammad Hanief Girdawar with Director Land Records Jammu, Tanveer Hussain BCG Tehsil office Bahu and Sajjad Hussain OQ Tehsil Office Bahu.

These steps have been initiated by the Revenue Minister after it was brought to his notice the grievances of the public and the nexus of the field functionaries of the revenue deptt with some land grabbers.In order to stream line the functioning in Tehsil Bahu and to install work ethics and transparency a senior most tehsildar from among the direct recruits has been recently posted as tehsildar Bahu. This way all the staff has been changed from Tehsil Bahu where from large complaints are being received from general masses.This action is a message to all the field functionaries that work ethics and transparency is to be maintained at all costs and corruption and dereliction of duty shall not be tolerated.
