Div Com frames Price Committee for bricks

The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon convened a joint meeting of high level officers and Brick Kiln Owners here today and reviewed increasing prices of bricks in Valley.The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone, Vice Chairman LAWDA, Mr. Sarmad Hafeez, Director CA&PD Kashmir Mr. Abdul Rashid War and Brick Kiln Owners.The threadbare discussions were held on the increasing rates of bricks. For streamlining the prices of bricks in the Valley, the Div Com constituted a committee for which all the Deputy Commissioner of Valley and Director Industries Kashmir, Director CA&PD Kashmir have been nominated as its members while as Deputy Commissioner Srinagar will be Convenor of the said committee.It was informed in the meeting that after Eid-ul-Fitr, the committee will fix the reasonable prices of bricks.
