PDP demands release of salaries on Eid eve

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged upon government to ensure release of salaries and wages to employees, DW’s and casual labour on Eid eve. The party has also demanded release of payments to employees of corporate and public sector undertakings.In a statement to KNS, PDP spokesman said that party is committed to welfare of employees and will encourage them to grow and contribute towards the welafer of the state.Acknowledging the potential of the employees he said that they have worked in most difficult times and are always available to not only fulfil their service obligations but contribute to overall growth and upliftment.

He said while it is the obligation of the state to meet out the genuine demands of the employees and get them their right, PDP also feels that the unemployed youth deserve attention. He said that those registered for stipend should also get their dues well before Eid.He said that along with the salaries and wages the state has to ensure that widows , orphans, senior citizens and destitutes too get the financial assistance where it has not reached to them.The spokesman also demanded that the student community entitled to scholarships and financial assistance from government and school funds are equally entertained.PDP spokesman appealed to non governmental institutions to lend adequate support on Eid eve to needy and deserving.
