Mian Altaf chairs PAC meeting

The meeting of the Committee on Public Accounts (PAC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held under the chairmanship of Mian Altaf Ahmad, MLA here today.Legislators, Mr. M Y Tarigami, Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Mr. Mohammad Khalil Band, Mr. Abdul Rashid Dar, Mr. Satpaul Sharma, Mr. Rajeev Sharma and Shah Mohammad Tantray were present in the meeting.The meeting had a detailed discussion to examine audit paras of CAGs report pertaining to Education Department.During the meeting, the legislators gave their suggestions and recommendations for further improvement of the Department.The Committee stressed upon the concerned officers to build a foolproof system in the interest of overall functioning of the Education department, including  works programme of the department.The meeting was attended by the Commissioner Secretary Education Department Mr. Shaleen Kabra, Director School Education Jammu Ms. Yasha Mudgal, Director School Education Kashmir, Mr. Showkat Beigh, State Project Director SSA Mr. Ramesh Kumar and other concerned officers.
