Various delegations of Civil Society, employees, traders met the Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh on way to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine here today and apprised him of the difficulties of common masses and the visiting pilgrims.Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh was accompanied by  Dr. M K Kumar, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB, M Das Administrator Katra Municipal Committee and Additional CEO, SMVDSB, Sujit Kumar, SSP Reasi.On the demand of locals, Deputy Chief Minister directed for launching a special sanitation drive in Katra. He assured  for provision of  sanitation material and equipment required for the drive commencing from  July 14, 2015.Deputy Chief Minister also instructed to open a counter for registration of Amarnath Yatries in Katra which was not available earlier. He asked the local administration to project the requirements for the development of Katra.
