DC Poonch conducts surprise inspection of Govt offices

Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Nisar Wani has asked all the district officers and other employees to maintain punctuality and ensure effective delivery of services to the general public.The Deputy Commissioner during surprise visits to several offices in Poonch including the offices of District Industries Centre and ARTO stressed on developing work culture in government offices and warned of strict action against any laxity by the employees.During his surprise visit to ARTO office, the DC took strong notice of presence of outsiders in the office. He   asked ARTO to explain as to why the outsiders were sitting inside his office and in other rooms.  During visit to District Industries Centre, the Deputy Commissioner, while inspecting the attendance register found seven officials absent from duty.Taking serious note, Wani directed for withholding their salary till they explain their position.
