The former Executive Councilor for Zanskar Affairs and Tourism LAHDC Kargil and Nominated Councilor Engineer Punchok Tashi along with some prominent personalities of Zanskar joined National Conference at Zanskar during the visit of the Minister for Higher Education Mohammad Akbar Lone along with, Advisor to CM Qamar Ali Akhone, State Minister Feroz Ahmad Khan and Nazir Gurazi, Provincial President NC and MLA Nasir Aslam Wani and District President National Conference Ghulam Hassan Khan.Mohammad Akbar Lone addressed to a huge gathering of People at Padum Zanskar during which he told that the Omar government is bound for the development of the far flung and deprived areas of the State like Zanskar. The Government is aware of all the difficulties faced by the people residing in these areas and to provide all basic facilities, is the top most priority of the Government.During his speech the Minister announced that from the next academic session Science Stream will be started at Government Higher Secondary School Padum.Advisor to CM Qamar Ali Akhone, State Minister Feroz Ahmad Khan and Nazir Gurazi, Provincial President NC and MLA Nasir Aslam Wani and District President National Conference Ghulam Hassan Khan also addressed to the gathering and focused on the people friendly policies of the Government and also mentioned about the various development projects carried on in Zanskar Sub pision.On this occasion a large number of people along with former Executive Councilor for Zanskar Affairs and Tourism LAHDC Kargil and Nominated Councilor Engineer Punchok Tashi and some prominent personalities of Zanskar joined National Conference.

The ministers joyfully apprised the new members for joining the party and hoped that the new member will strengthen the party by highlighting and making aware the people with the policies and programmes of the party.The Advisor to CM Qamar Ali Akhone and Minister for State Feroz Ahmad Khan called a meeting of the Officers of Zanskar Sub pision and checked the stocking position of essential commodities for the winter and the scenario of the ongoing developmental schemes in Zanskar.On getting the information that the Essential Commodities has been stocked 90%, he Minister directed for the stocking of the remaining 10% with in days keeping in view the onset of winter season so that the people could not face any kind of difficulties.On this occasion MLC Kargil Syed Ahmad Razvi and the councilors also participated in the meeting.

Earlier Advisor to CM Qamar Ali Akhone, Minister for State Feroz Ahmad Khan along with MLC Kargil Syed Ahmad Razvi, Councilors and District President National Conference Haji Ghulam Hassan Khan had an extensive tour of the villages Himiling, Rantakh Shah, Shomoling, Karsha and other villages and addressed to the public grievances. The ministers assured the villagers that their demands and grievances will be redressed on priority basis.
