Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh performed foundation stone laying ceremonies of additional building of Government Senior Secondary School, Kutiyara near Jwalamukhi to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 65.68 lakh and three storied Science Block building of Government Senior Secondary School (Boys) Jwalamukhi to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 72.48 lakh in district Kangra today. Later, speaking during the Free Style Wrestling Tournament at Jwalaji, organized by Maa Jwala Sports Culture Club, Chief Minister said that Community Health Centre, Jwalamukhi would be upgraded to 50 bedded hospital and private degree college Jwalamukhi would be taken over the Government. He also announced to open Sub pision of  Irrigation and Public Health Department at Jwalamukhi. He also announced to develop a  multi-purpose playground in Jwalamukhi to promote sports culture among the youth. 

Shri Virbhadra Singh said that Jwalamkukhi was a famous religious place where thousands of pilgrims visit every day to pay obeisance to Mata Jwalaji. He said that the State Government would provide all possible assistance to develop best facilities to the devotees. G.S. Bali, Transport and Civil Supplies Minister said that the State Government had adopted the Election Manifesto of Congress Party as Policy Document of the Government and all major demands of the people had already been fulfilled during 10 months of present State Government. He said that free traveling facility was being provided to the students of Government schools to come to school and vice versa in HRTC buses.He said that ambitious Skill Development Scheme had been launched by the Government for skill development of youth. He said that Rs. 200 crore were being spent to provide subsidized ration to the people of the State. He said that the licenses of the depot holders would be cancelled if they would not supply the subsidized ration to beneficiaries in time. 

Shri Sanjay Rattan, MLA thanked the Chief Minister for fulfilling all the major demands of the people of the area.MLA Shri Ajay Mahajan, Vice Chairman, State Freedom Fighters Welfare Board Shri Sushil Rattan, Advisor to Chief Minister Shri T.G. Negi, Deputy Commissioner Kangra Shri C. Palrasu, Superintendent of Police Shri Balbir Thakur, Chairperson Jwalaji Nagar Parishad Smt. Anil Prabha, senior officers and prominent persons of the area were also present on the occasion.
