Teachers’ role vital in shaping personality of students: Bhalla

Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture Raman Bhalla today asked the teachers fraternity to give their best to shape the personality of students so that they become valuable assets for the society. He was addressing students and parents at annual day function of United Public Higher Secondary School Channi Himmat here  today.    Commissioner JMC Mr. Kiran Wattal and Managing Director JK Housing Board Mr. Ram Pal Sharma attended the function as guest of honour.Addressing the gathering, Mr. Bhalla asked the teaching fraternity to impart quality as well as moral education to the students. He said teachers are the main architects who shape the personality of students by giving them quality education.The Minister highlighted the role of the teachers and parents in the life of children. He called upon the parents to send their wards to schools for becoming good citizens of the country. He asked the students community to work for unity and integrity of the country and also appealed the parents to come forward and support their children in this mission so that India emerge as a strongest country.

In his address, Chairman of the school, Mr. Ram Paul Sharma asked the students to work hard and show their excellence in coming exams. He said Education is vital for better tomorrow and asked students to share their knowledge to improve their intelligence. Earlier, the students of the school presented a colourful cultural itels which was highly applauded the students, prominent citizens, parents besides teaching and non-teaching staff members.Later, Mr. Bhalla also distributed mementos among the meritorious students who brought laurels for school during JKBOSE exams in 2012-13.
