Dr. Mahesh Sharma calls on Governor

Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister of State for Tourism & Culture, Civil Aviation, called on N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at the Raj Bhavan yesterday.Dr. Sharma and the Governor discussed wide ranging issues relating to promotion of tourism, exploitation of new tourist destinations and development of reliable air services in the State, particularly to connect the remote areas with Jammu, Srinagar, Leh and Kargil. The Governor also pointed to the need for planned action being taken for the promotion of art and cultural activities in the State.
