Vikar Rasool chairs Petitions Committee meet

Member Legislative Assembly, Vikar Rasool Wani today chaired a meeting of the Committee on Petitions of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on behalf of its Chairman, MLA, Mr. Sham Lal Choudhary to discuss pending petitions regarding settlement of land case of Raj Kumar R/O Miran Sahib, Jammu. Legislators, Mr. Javed Hassan Beigh, Bashir Ahmed Dar and Mr. Abid Hussain Ansari attended the meeting and gave their suggestions to make the Committee more vibrant and result-oriented.Threadbare discussion was held on the settlement of land case of Raj Kumar Sharma R/O Miran Sahib, Jammu. The Committee directed the Revenue authorities to complete all legal formalities in this regard by 27th July, 2015 so that case could be settled at the earliest.Threadbare discussion was also held on the functioning of the committee besides petitions received by the Assembly Secretariat.Secretary Revenue, Mohammad Afzal, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu Simrandeep Singh besides other senior officers of Revenue department and Assembly Secretariat attended the meeting.
