Harsimrat Kaur Badal performs yoga in Punjab

Union Minister for Food Processing Harsimrat Badal was among the thousands of enthusiasts who performed yoga at a session in a Punjab town on Sunday to mark International Yoga Day.Badal along with state Health Minister Surjit Kumar Jyani were present at the state-level function in Fazilka town, while state cabinet ministers were among those who attended the second state-level function in the Sikh holy city of Amritsar.In both the towns, thousands of locals, NCC cadets and government officials joined yoga sessions.Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal on Saturday took a dig at the opposition Congress for giving a political colour to International Yoga Day."The event should not be given any political or religious colour," he said in Amritsar.
