DC Doda reviews developmental activities

Deputy Commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar today reviewed the physical and financial achievements recorded by the line departments under Annual District Plan 2014-15 and other centrally sponsored flagship schemes.The meeting also discussed issues related to the preparations for the forthcoming District Development Board meeting.During the meeting DC Doda took a detailed review of the Physical and Financial achievements made by the line Departments in the District under Annual District Plan 2014-15. The DC stressed upon the officers to ensure cent percent utilization of funds so that benefits percolates down to the poor masses.

He said systematic planning and effective implementation of schemes as per the ground realities is essential for fruitful and sustainable development of the District.While reviewing   developmental activities, the DC Doda directed the officers to formulate a detailed account of   activities and achievements besides future plans of their respective departments so that these could be highlighted in the coming District Development Board meeting. Mr. Kumar also asked the officers to put up their problems and bottlenecks if any so that these are apprised to the Government for seeking solutions in a proper way.

The DC also reviewed the detailed status of   schemes and programmes which included BRGF, RGGVY, SSA, RMSA, PMGSY, NRHM, etc.The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the pace of progress on under construction buildings, roads and bridges and other infrastructure developmental projects.
