PUC Assam Legislative Assembly calls on Speaker

The committee on Public Undertakings (PUC) of the Assam Legislative Assembly led by its acting chairman Mr Hemanta Talukdar called on Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta here today.The Committee gave a brief account about the formation and functioning of the Committee on Public Undertakings, Assam Legislative Assembly and said that it has a vital role to play in molding, shaping and reshaping the industrial growth of the state.

The Speaker also exchanged the ideas with the team and discussed about the similarities and variations of committee on public undertakings in J&K Legislative Assembly.The Speaker also informed the committee about the scenic beauty and weather conditions of J&K State. He also showed them pictures of high altitude Ladakh region.The team expressed its gratitude for good gesture of the Speaker and invited him to visit the region. Later the committee went around the different sections of the Assembly including Assembly Hall.Legislators of Assam Legislative Assembly Mr. Prabin Hazarika, Mr. Bhupen Raj and Mr. Manoranjan Das, besides Secretary J&K Legislative Assembly Mr. M. Ramzan were present on the occasion.
