Abdul Ghani Kohli attends Urs at Nanga Thub shrine, prays for peace, prosperity in state

Minister for Transport, Abdul Ghani Kohli today attended Urs -e-Mubarak at Nanga Thub Ziarat and prayed for peace prosperity and communal harmony in the state. He appealed the people to contribute towards safeguarding the state's interests and dignity.While addressing the gathering, the Minister said that the Unity, solidarity, communal amity and equitable development of all regions and sub regions of the state is the main agenda of this coalition government , which  represents the aspirations of all sections of the society.He said that the pro - people policies of the govt have helped to win the faith of the masses and the present government is doing  a great job in heralding peace, prosperity and development in the state. “ The polices and agenda of the government has been well recognised by the people from every region and religion” , he said.  

Kohli said that the coalition government headed by Mufti Sayeed is fully aware of people's problems and is making all out efforts to meet their aspirations. He reiterated the commitment of the   government to ensure holistic development of all the regions of the state with special focus on remote, far flung and rural areas. He said that the state is on the march of peace, progress and development under this regime. He sought people's whole hearted support to strengthen the hands of the government.

On the occasion, Local representatives of the area put forth various demands which are mainly related to better road connectivity, upgradation of schools, adequate staff at health center, installation of good quality transformers.Responding to the demands, Mr.kohli assured that their genuine problems will be considered and redressed in a time bound manner. He directed the concerned officers to look into all the issues raised by the people and initiate necessary steps to redress the same. He assured that all the resources will be pooled to provide basic amenities and better connectivity at door steps of the people besides ensuring expeditious pace of development works.
