Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari reviews developmental scenario at Baramulla

Sets 3 month deadline for completion of key projects

Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Information Technology and Technical Education, Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari today directed district administration Baramulla to speed up developmental tempo in the district and ensure timely completion of all ongoing works within the stipulated timeframe. He also set three months deadline for completion of some important projects.The Minister was addressing an officers meeting at Baramulla, convened to review the pace of development works and welfare schemes. The meeting which lasted for five hours also reviewed developmental scenario of Assembly Constituency Pattan.The Minister directed the concerned officers to ensure supply of essential commodities including rice, atta, sugar and LPG to the consumers during the holy month of Ramadhan. He also directed PHE and PDD engineers to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply during the month.

District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Peerzada Mushtaq Ahmed gave a detailed resume of developmental activities being carried out in the district especially in Pattan assembly constituency.The meeting was informed that Rs 24.33 crore are being spent for the execution of various developmental works and welfare schemes in Pattan constituency during current financial year.The meeting was further informed that 19 different developmental projects are under execution in the area of which various projects will be completed during current year.Mr. Ansari directed JKPCC to ensure timely completion of ITI Pattan.

Reviewing the Education Sector, the Chief Education Officer was asked to further streamlining the education system in the district and ensure maximum number of students get registration in Government Schools. He also directed that construction of Higher Secondary school Shariefabad, Khore and High School Kralpora buildings be completed within two months.  The Minister also directed the Chief Medical Officer Baramulla to further improve the medical facilities in all health institutions and ensure that supplies of medicine are carried out in a better way. He also stressed the need for time-bound completion of trauma hospital at Pattan.The other sectors which were reviewed in the meeting include agriculture, horticulture, handicrafts, CA&PD, Power, PHE, Sheep and Animal Husbandry.Later the Minister distributed the cheques worth Rs 57.75 lakh among 77 beneficiaries of Pattan constituency under Indra Awas Yojana.
