Asks DC to settle land compensation cases early

Minister for Revenue, Javed Mustafa Mir, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation and other senior officers of district administration , today, visited Soiteng, Lasjan, Summerbugh, New colony Sumerbugh, Pantha Chowk, Baghi Mehtab, Kralpora, Kursoo Ghat and Padshah Bagh.The Minister announced Rs. 5 lakh for construction of lanes and drains in Padshahi Bagh. During the tour, a large number of people met the Minister and apprised him about the problems they are facing on account of basic facilities. He issued on the spot instructions to the concerned officers for addressing the problems of the people.The Minister also visits Pantha Chowk and took stock of the widening of road there. He asked the engineers of R&B department to accelerate on the project and ensure that work is completed early for convenience of commuters .Javed also instructed Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar to settle early the land compensation cases of those whose land and structures have been acquired for widening of the road.
