Sagar, Jora inaugurate CFC at Aabi-Nowpora

Say Govt ensured sustained dev of state

Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Ali Mohammad Sagar today said that the government is committed for ensuring sustained development of the Srinagar city and in this regard several developmental initiatives have been undertaken.The Minister was addressing a huge gathering after inaugurating Syed Minayat Shah Community Facility Centre (CFC) along with Minister for Urban Development Department and Local Bodies, Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora. The CFC has been constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.31 crore at Aabi-Nowpora-Khanyar in old city Srinagar.

Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Dr. G. N. Qasba and senior officers of different departments were present on the occasion.

Mr. Sagar said that several landmark developmental programmes have been undertaken by the government for elevating the socio-economic profile of the people of the state and certain parties in a state of frustration are trying to negate the developments registered by the present coalition government.The Minister said that the government has already undertaken a comprehensive programme for ensuring the development of the Srinagar city and in this regard clear instructions have been passed down the line to ensure timely completion of these. He said that these schemes would go a long way in making Srinagar one of the model cities.

Minister for Urban Development, Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora while speaking on the occasion said that the government has ensured the holistic development of the state in every sphere.He said that community halls have been constructed in different localities of Srinagar city, so that the people living in these areas get the requisite facilities for celebrating their social functions.Mr. Jora further said that the Centre has been quiet liberal in giving the requisite funds for carrying out the developmental activities in the state and now it is the endeavor of the government to ensure that they are utilized to the maximum by undertaking various developmental programmes.
