Inaugrates 6 Projects Worth Rs. 2.33 Crore & Lays Foundation Stone Of Yet Another 6

Putting the development works in Majitha Constituency on a fast track, Bikram Singh Majithia, Revenue & Public Relations Minister Punjab, laid the foundation stone of 6 new projects pertaining to construction of approach roads to deras in and around village Bhangali. The roads to be constructed include the road to Dera Fauji Dhir Singh at a cost of Rs. 536000, Dera Amrik Singh at a cost of Rs.67000, Dera Jarnail Singh at a cost of Rs. 268000, Dera Gurdit Singh at a cost of Rs. 402000, Dera Ajit Singh at a cost of Rs. 335000 and dera bhai Harjinder Singh at a cost of Rs. 268000. 

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Majithia said that he is committed towards overall development of his constituency and would ensure that all the projects initiated see the light of the day within stipulated time period. Citing the example of the day, he said that he does not believe in a foundation stone laying spree and added that along with laying foundation stones of new projects, he has inaugurated 6 other projects that have materialized. He also added that the macro development plan of the constituency has been bifurcated into several micro plans and there after they are being implemented in a well planned manner. He said that soon the development in Majitha would reach a level beyond contemplation of the inhabitants of the area.

Besides the inauguration of newly constructed rural roads, Mr. Majithia also inaugurated the 12.5 MVA power transformer at the 66 KV Power Grid in village Bhangali, set up at a cost of approximately Rs. 2 crore. This he said would give a big relief to the people from power breakdowns due to overload and would ensure regular power supply to meet the paddy sowing requirements.He also paid obeisance at the local Shri Radha Krishan temple and partook in the Path organized on the first death anniversary of Baba Mohan Singh at  Gurudwara Tahli Sahib. He was accompanied by Mr. Jodh Singh Samra, Mr. Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Mr. Papu Jantipur and a host of other local leaders.
