Samples of Maggi Noodles seized in Pulwama

As per the directions of District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Mr. Neeraj Kumar, the Food Safety officers today lifted nine samples of Maggi noodles and other noodles from the market for laboratory analysis and seized 85 cartons of Maggi noodles (Nestle) from the market.

The Government, it may be recalled, has imposed ban on sale of Maggi products in the state following reports of presence of non-permissible contents of lead in these products.Moreover, general public has been requested not to use Maggi noodles (Nestle) and the food business operators are directed not to sell, store, exhibit or distribute the said food product.
