Congress failed the people of Amethi: Smriti Irani

Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani on Tuesday said that Congress had failed the people of Amethi.She was addressing a rally in Amethi, the constituency of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, to highlight the NDA government's achievements on completion of its one year.Lambasting the previous Congress government for its failures , Irani said that her government had started the Amethi-Unchahar railway line project. "We have given the people of Amethi a railway line between Amethi-Unchachar on May 25. What could not be done in the last 10 years was done by the NDA government in the past one year," she said.
