 Punjab Education Minister  Sikander Singh Maluka today cracked his whip on non-performing school heads and teachers of district Ajitgarh seeking their explanation. Taking a serious note of below than satisfaction results of Matriculation and Plus Two of some Ajitgarh district schools, the Education Minister today directed District Education Officer (Secondary), Ajitgarh to call explanation of each school head/teachers having poor results and submit those along with his comments in next 15 days. He further said that where the result of concerned school was satisfactory but students falters in some subjects; explanations of concerned teachers should also be called.Reiterating his commitment to ensure quality education in government schools, the Minister categorically said that there was no room for non-performing and non-serious teachers and any complacency would not be tolerated.
