Majithia Blames Congress Policies For Coal Allocation Crisis For Goindwal & Other Plants

Assuring 8-hour power supply for paddy transplantation, Bikram Singh Majithia, Revenue Minister, Punjab, said that the Punjab government has already made advanced arrangements keeping in view the increased requirement and power purchase agreements with the power companies have already been executed.Blaming Congress party for creating mess in the power and coal sector by their opaque policies, Mr Majithia said that if there was delay in allocation of coal to Goindwal or Talwandi Sabo power plants, the blame lies at the door of Congress party that was responsible for cancellation of coal blocks by the Supreme Court. He said that Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal has already met Union Coal and Power Ministers to work out a permanent solution for thermal plants.

Assuring electronic record keeping in the revenue department, Mr Majithia said that the Revenue Department is all set to recruit cyber savvy 1230 e-patwaris to make the working of revenue department total digital. He said that the recruitment was being done through a transparent procedure worked out by Panjab University Chandigarh.Ridiculing the allegation of deteriorating of law & order situation in the state, Mr. Majithia said that this issue has already been discussed in state Vidhan Sabha where congress was miserably failed in substantiating its allegations. He said that congress has already lost its ground in state and desperately trying to remain in news. He advised congress leaders Capt. Amarinder Singh and Partap Singh Bajwa to first establish their supremacy in state congress leadership.
