BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh today said that lakhs of crores of Rupees would have been saved had  former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh broken his silence when Congressmen, alliance partners and cronies of Sonia and Rahul were amassing wealth through allocation of coal blocks and 2G spectrum right under his nose and very much within the knowledge and consent of the mother and the son.Sonia and Rahul tried to project themselves as well wishers of the farmers but it is no use shedding crocodile tears now when their misdeeds stood exposed and the people of India have penalised them for the same in Lok Sabha elections.Reacting to the allegations of Sonia, Manmohan and Rahul leveled on NDA government led by prime minister Narendra Modi and terming Congress as mother of all types of corruption, Chugh said Congress today cannot pretend to be the well wisher of farmers and labourers of this country. People are neither ignorant nor so naive, he said.No one can believe that the scams and scandals running into lakhs of crores under the UPA regime were not in the knowledge of Rahul Gandhi. Was he not dictating orders to those who mattered in the government?

There has been no suitable or satisfactory explanation by the Gandhi family regarding the allegtations on Robert Vadra. He could not have gained so much through coveted land deals if he didn't had the blessings of Sonia and the push of Rahul.

Each and everybody now knows that the Congress has plundered the assets and wealth of the country in every possible way throughout the period it ruled the country.

No one now believes even a word said by Congress as it has become a subject of common knowledge that Congress, its partners and cronies looted the country and the states they ruled. The government led by PM Modi has made it more than clear that the land acquisition would only be for the requirements related to Defence, Power, Housing for poor, Infrastructure, Railways, Bus Stands, Government hospitals and schools, Roads etc and not for any other purposes.  It has categorically stated that not even an inch of the land would be acquired for non-governmental purposes.Commenting on former prime minister Manmohan Singh's outburst on the subject, Chugh said why the former PM did not speak when scams worth lakhs and thousands of crores were being committed with impunity.  Two full terms of the UPA government were marred with scams and scandals and Dr. Manmohan Singh cannot escape responsibility for those. Manmohan would have gained much respect had he refused to abide by the orders of Sonia and Rahul and saved the country from being looted.

The Kisan Rally at Delhi on Sunday was just a tool to re-launch Rahul Gandhi who remained out of scene and out of country for about two months and it has nothing to do with the welfare of farmers. Even the farmers rejected the call of the Congress rally and the people present there were only groups of Congressmen who were there not even to support Rahul but to show strength of their respective leaders.Congress has no moral authority to oppose a refined land bill as it had acquired 45,000 acres of land in last 10 years of its regime for various SEZs.
