Capt Amarinder warns against arbitrary expulsion of Lucky

Congress Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh today condemned the recommendation of the Amritsar Municipal Corporation to expel Congress house leader Lucky.He hoped that the government will reject the recommendation as it was outrightly arbitrary, unlawful, undemocratic and unconstitutional.The Amritsar MP asked the ruling alliance to show some grace and have the courage to face the opposition. He warned that in case the expulsion was not withdrawn the party will seek a legal recourse to get the wrong corrected. He said, he will not allow the government to gag the voice of opposition at any cost.
