400 new health Sub-centres proposed under NRHM: Saifullah
Says Wanpoh to have a separate PHC

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Mir Saifullah on behalf of Health Minister while replying to a question by Mr. Sham Lal Bhagat informed the House that no First Aid Centre, Allopathic & Ayurvedic Dispensary has been opened in erstwhile Doda District during 2011-12 and 2012-13.The Minister said that a proposal for opening of 400 new Sub-Centres has been projected to the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in the State under the Programme implementation Plan of NRHM 2013-14.In reply to another question by Mr. Abdul Majid Bhat, the Minister said that the nearest Sub-Centre Larm Gangipora is 1 kilometer away from the site of the under-construction PHC which falls in Devsar Constituency. He said Wanpoh falls under the jurisdiction of Humshalibugh Constituency for which DDB has decided to set-up a separate PHC.Mr. Saifullah said that the villages Botengo, Arwani and Uranhall are having Sub-Centres, while as Jablipora village is adjacent to the SDH, Bijbehra.Dr Shahnaz Ganai and Dr. Bashir Ahmad Shah raised the supplementaries to the question.
