Harsimrat Advises Rahul To Learn Etiquettes In Politics

Bathinda Member Parliament, Harsimrat Kaur Badal advised AICC Vice president Rahul Gandhi to learn etiquettes in politics as he showed immaturity by not inviting Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Cancer Hospital at Sangrur, for which Punjab Government had given 25 acres of land.While speaking to media-persons at Goniana Kalan , when she was asked to comment on the issue of no invitation extended to the Punjab CM,she said “Rahul needs to learn some manners in politics. First he insulted his own Prime Minister by calling an ordinance passed by Dr. Manmohan Singh’s cabinet as ‘rubbish’ and ‘nonsense’. He toppled turban of his own Prime Minister by making fun of his government in public, when he was abroad,” said Mrs. Badal.
She said, “Rahul not only committed a mistake by not inviting Punjab Chief Minister on inauguration function but he is enough rude that he did not invite even former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who remained president of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee for more than 10 years .This is not really the way of practicing politics,”. “He should know that we gave the land for the construction of the cancer hospital. By extending no invitation to the Punjab government, Congress has once again exposed itself. Congress proved that they only do politics for votes and not for the welfare of people,” said Mrs. Badal.“UPA government in center has never come forward to support cause of Punjab. Congress leaders are only doing vote bank politics. Issues directly concerning with people like pollutions in rivers, renovation of irrigation
system and water logging problems have being ignored by the central government repeatedly,” added Mrs. Badal.She said, “You can see that Congress is ready to dole out crores of rupees on the Food security bill ahead of the elections only to play vote bank politics but same Congress government in center is not ready to pay single penny for the irrigation projects of Punjab which has supplied food grains to all the nation by consuming its own resources,”.“New Domestic Airport at Virk Kalan is ready for functioning as its building is ready for more than one year but central government has not been giving any time for its inauguration,” added Mrs. Badal.
She said, “People have rejected the government of scandals from their heart and waiting eagerly for the parliament elections to throw this government out of power.” Harsimrat Badal addressed impressive and visited villages of Goniana Kala, Jeeda, Jandanwala, Khialiwala, Kothe Amargarh, Kothe Sandhu,Mehma Swai, and Sivian addressed the grievances of the public on the spot besides disbursing the developmental grants of lakhs of rupees to these villages. She also gave patient hearing to the Taksali (veteran) Akali leaders in every village and solved their problems immediately. Funds of lakhs of rupees were distributed during her tour. She also inaugurated new Primary school in Jeeda village. She inaugurated water works at Jandan Wala village and inaugurated Government High school library at Khialiwala.Meanwhile she also distributed the saplings under her Nanhi Chaan Program and appealed the public to stop female foeticide and to plant more trees to make the environment clean, besides giving a call for shunning the drugs.Bathinda Deputy Commissioner Kamal Kishore Yadav, SSP, Ravcharan Singh Brar, Senior Akali leaders Lakhbir Singh Lakhi, Sukhman Sidhu, Balkar Singh and various officials were also present at the occasion.
