Dominated Political Parties having Double-standards: Dr. Gandhi

Reservation for Women is only talking point, Reservation Bill should be passed immediately

Dr. Dharamveer Gandhi, Member of Parliament Aam Admi Party (AAP) targeted dominant Political parties of India having double standard in their acts. He said these political parties are note sincere giving equal rights to the fairer sex. Dr. Gandhi while emphasizing on women’s reservation bill pending in the parliament from last several years showing their attitude.  He said that we are living in 21st century which is the scientific era but our traditional parties are having old mind set. In the same tone he said that these traditional parties celebrating martyrdom days of various martyrs but in reality they are against their thoughts.He was speaking at Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial Bhawan, Sector 44C , Chandigarh. 

Talking about latest land acquisition bill passed by Lok Sabha he said that ruling party on the one side remembering  great martyrs of India  who sacrificed their lives against Black laws created by British Government before independence  on the other hand they themselves creating “Black Laws” like latest land act and Anti labor bills. He said that people of India should not elect such parties.

AAP M.P. Dr. Gandhi said on this occasion that religious fundamentalists and Khap Panchayats organizations of either religions or states have not rights to tell women of 21st century in India that what to wear whom to marry. He said present powerful lobby of our present social system is having anti women thoughts.On this occasion Mayor Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Ms.Poonam Sharma said that she dedicated this year to women empowerment in UT and she wants to create a women sena which works for the favor of ladies in UT and she also emphasized that women are using their legal powers against women in different matters which should be stopped. She said that false complainants who are lodging fake cases of rapes, dowry and other matters with law agencies should also be strongly penalized.  She said that “Women Sena” will work for self reliance of females in Chandigarh. She made an appeal to the women of UT that they should take care of Old ladies, young ladies and female kids in distress. She said acid attackers should also be dealt with stern action. 

She said she is feeling proud to be a woman.On this occasion Dr. Kanwaljit Kaur Dhillon, Dr. Ameer Sultana and Ms. Veena Jammu  spoke about women empowerment and social freedom to the women. Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial Bhawan society  president Jarnail Singh Sandha, Writer Mr Rakesh Kumar, Harjeet Singh Adaltiwala Senior AAP leader, Shri Daulat Ram Kamboj Chairman District Planning Board Ferozepur, Mr Nanak Chand Kamboj President All India Kamboj Maha Sabha  spoke on this occasion. Artists from different part of the region Salman Khan, Baby Prabhleen, Ms. Malkeet Basra and Ms. Satbir Kaur Jawandha presented cultural songs and poems. On this occasion a free homeopathic camp was organized by Dr. Gursharan Singh and his team. They examined more than 200 patients and gave free medicines. Stage was conducted by society  General Secy.
