PUTIA asks youth entrepreneurs to come forward, makes new appointments

PUTIA will start Anti Drug Campaign for the benefit of more than 2.5 lac students

A meeting of Core Committee of Punjab Unaided Technical Institutions Association (PUTIA) was held recently under the leadership of President, PUTIA, Dr. J S Dhaliwal. The meeting was attended by young edupreneurs of Punjab.PUTIA nominated young entrepreneur and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr. Anshu Kataria as the Vice President. Dr Kataria is working as the convenor of PUTIA and he had played active role in the previous years.The meeting was attended by all the young entrepreneurs working in the field of higher technical and professional education. Earlier to this Dr Dhaliwal asked young entrepreneurs to come forward and strengthen the association which is working in the field of education since last 2 decades.PUTIA also decided to launch anti drug campaign among more than 2.5 lac students studying in various private colleges and Universities of Punjab.

Dr Dhaliwal also appointed S. Gurfateh Singh (Adesh Group) as Secretary; Er. Sawinder Singh Gill (Sukhjindra Group), convener- Majha Region; Mr. Gurminder Singh (Bhai Gurdas Group), convenor- Malwa I; Mr.Anup Bansal (Arya Bhata), convenor- Malwa II; CA, Renu Arora(Swami Parmanand),finance secretory; S. Gurpreet Singh (Universal Group),Convener- Tricity Region, Mr. Gurkirat Singh(Gulzar Group),convener Ludhiana zone. All the existing Vice-Presidents viz, Mr. Manjit Singh, (Doaba Group),  Mr. Gurvinder Singh, (Rayat & Bahra Group), Dr. Zora Singh, (Desh Bhagat Group), Sh. Avtar Singh (Sukhmani Group), Dr. S. S. Jawanda (Bhai Gurdas Group), Dr. H. S. Gill  (Adesh Group), Er. S. K. Punj (Shri Sai Group), have been elevated to the Sr. Vice-Presidents.   Dr. Rohin Sachdeva will remain as General Secretary. 

Apart from others Mr. J.S Dhaliwal (Quest Group); Prem Gandhi(KC Group); Sh Sukhdev Singla (Indo Global); Sh. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal (CGC, Landran); Sh. Ankur Dhawan(Punjab Group of Colleges); Dr. Rohin Sachdeva(Lala Lajpat Rai);Dr. Zora Singh(Desh Bhagat); Dr. S. S. Jawanda(Bhai Gurdas Group);Mr. Manmohan Garg(Gurukul Vidyapeeth);Er. S. K. Punj(Shri Sai Group) was also present on the occasion.It is to be mentioned that PUTIA comprises of about 440 institutions in Punjab providing Engineering (Degree, Diploma), Architecture, Management, Hotel Management, Pharmacy and other Non-AICTE courses.  All the Chancellors of Universities of Punjab viz. (LPU), Chitkara University, (GKU), Chandigarh University, Rayat & Bahra University, DAV University, (DBU) are Advisors of Advisory Core-Committee of PUTIA.
