Urging upon National Conference and People’s Democratic Party to join hands in the interest of the people of Kashmir, newly elected legislator from Langate and president Awami-Itihad Party, Engineer Rashid Friday warned that any party which will support BJP to form government will get eradicated from the political map of Jammu and Kashmir and that party will truly face the wrath of general public in Kashmir.Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Er Rashid said that it is irony and surprising for him that NC and PDP are not joining hands for sake of Kashmiri people. “Mufti Muhammad Sayeed should answer to the people what are the reservations that keeps him away from National Conference while Omar Abdullah should also answer to the people of Kashmir why he met BJP leaders after extending support to PDP,” Rashid said.

He added that it seems that both parties don’t want to join hands as according to him both the parties can’t pursue their Self-Rule and Autonomy agenda. “NC talks about Autonomy while PDP pursues Self-Rule. Both parties have chance to sit together and devise a better agenda but these parties can’t join as they know they will get exposed before the public as both the parties are scared of New Delhi and Modi,” Rashid said.Er Rashid according to CNS said that he will offer unconditional support to NC and PDP if they form government in the state. He however added that he will also support PDP if it forms the government with the support of Congress party. “My support to Congress-PDP government would be based on certain conditions like the release of political prisoners, unconditional dialogue with militants, cordial relations with Pakistan and so on,” he said.

Responding to a question, Rashid said that he is in touch with Hakim Yasin and Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami and they all have decided to support to Kashmir centric government that will mitigate the sufferings of the people. He said that it is historical fact that BJP pursues hidden agenda and it not only wants to abrogate Article 370 but also wants to grant state subject rights to Hindu refugees of Pakistan administered Kashmir.
