With assembly elections reaching to its last leg in Jammu and Kashmir BJP has hinted that it may open stalled dialogue process with Pakistan and also invite separatists for talks.Talking to KNS, BJP’s state secretary Charanjeet Singh Khalsa remarked that after the elections in Jammu and Kashmir are over, BJP would facilitate the talks with Huriyat Conference and with Pakistan.“BJP wants good relations with Pakistan so that both the countries could witness an era of peace and prosperity. But for good relations, there must be good intentions from the opposite side as well,” he said.“Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently said he would carry forward Atal Behari Vajpayee’s mission on Kashmir and accordingly we will include Hurriyat in the dialogue process,” the BJP leader told KNS.He remarked that the agenda of the Prime Minister is vast and that BJP will accommodate all shades of opinion for the sustenance of peace and stability.Dismissing the allegations of opposition parties, he said, “The party (BJP) is not a communal and the allegations that it would pide the state on the basis of religion or creed are baseless and fabricated. It is Congress which believes in pide and rule. It is Congress which is communal and BJP will always strive to make Jammu and Kashmir as one state,” he told KNS.

Khalsa also took a dig at National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party, alleging the two families have plundered the state and consider ruling the state as their birth right. “BJP is here to end the rule of dynasts so that state could witness development and new growth in all major sectors,” he said. The BJP leader maintained that empowerment of youth, relief and rehabilitation of flood victims are the core areas of concern for the party and after polls BJP would prioritize to provide appropriate relief to the flood ravaged people of the state.Over Article 370 abrogation, Khalsa said that the Prime Minister earlier has asked for a debate over the issue so that it could be discussed on the basis of merit whether it benefits the state or not. He also hailed Modi over the admittance of Army’s mistake in Chatergam killings.
