Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) has congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for its historic win over 40-time Ranji champions Mumbai in a Group A match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.In a statement here BJP spokesman Khalid Jehnagir said: “It’s all due to the efforts of BJP that JK cricket team is achieving laurels. Ruling National Conference even turned cricket into scandal and embezzled money worth crores.”Jehangir said that it was due to the efforts of the BJP that skipper of the JK team Parvez Rasool got a chance to play for team India as BJP encouraged him to showcase his talent.Jehangir exuded hope that JK cricket team would continue to shine in future also and JK players would also get a chance to play for team India.
