A twin-engine small plane crashed into three houses in the US state of Maryland, killing six people -- three in the plane and a woman and her two little sons in their house - CNN reported Tuesday. The bodies of Marie Gemmell and her sons, three-year-old Cole and Devon, an infant, were found in the second floor bathroom of one of the houses struck by the plane Monday, a rescue official said. One of those killed in the plane was Michael Rosenberg, the CEO and founder of a North Carolina clinical development company called Health Decisions. The flight originated in North Carolina state's Chapel Hill town, near the company's headquarters in Durham. The plane went down about a mile from the airport, hitting three houses.

"The main part of the fuselage is rested up against the second house, with the tail of the airplane actually at the front door of that house, and then finally it appears that one of the wings was catapulted over into the third house where the majority of the fire damage occurred," the official said."So the aircraft wreckage itself is really in two main areas, but it damaged three houses," he added.
