Kashmiris have courage to reply those who daydream of defeating freedom movement through elections: Yasin Malik

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Yasin Malik Sunday said Kashmiris have enough courage to peacefully reply those who are “daydreaming of defeating freedom movement through manipulated elections.”“Indian rulers and their Kashmiri stooges after putting thousands of pro freedom leaders and activists in jails cannot claim democracy. This is in fact a worst form of dictatorship and Kashmiris 0n December 8, on the arrival of Indian prime minister will reiterate their commitment and love towards the sacred struggle of martyrs by observing a complete shutdown,” incarcerated chairman of JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik said in an emailed message from jail while reiterating the call for complete shutdown.

“A regime that has almost caged down every opponent cannot claim democracy and whole world should know that Kashmir is actually a police state,” he added.Meanwhile, a spokesman of the party said JKLF leaders Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri and professor Javed along with their teams today visited the areas of Dal lake Srinagar and Budgam. Leaders went door to door and apprised people about the ill consequences of ‘so called’ elections. They called upon people to remain vigilant and boycott elections. The areas visited included Dal lake, Rainawari,Nishat, Shalimar, Nehru park in Srinagar and Khansahib, Kremshora, Laterchadoora ,Handjan and Dangerpora in district Budgam.

Leaders on the occasion condemned the continuing detention of Malik, JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, vice chairman  Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, secretary general engineer Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, zonal deputy chief organizer Siraj Ud Din Mir, Zonal president Noor Mohammad Kalwal, zonal senior vice president Mohammad Yasin Bhat,  zonal press secretary Ashraf bin Salam, District president Pulwama Javed Ahmad Butt, senior activists ,Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Ashfaq Hussain, Mohammad Aadil, Faisal Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad Maloora, Shakir Ahmad, Altaf Ahmad Raina, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Abdul Hamid, Mohammad Sultan Wani, Mohammad Akbar, Fayaz Ahmad, Aakif Ahmad, Mudasir Ahmad, Parvaiz Ahmad and Mohammad Himayoon and Assadullah Sheikh.
