Omar Abdullah Files Nomination Papers From Sonawari

The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah filed his nomination documents from Sonawari constiuency on Wednesday in Srinagar's DC Office.Omar was accompanied by cabinet minister and General Secretary of ruling party National Conference. While talking to Media persons after filing the nomination papers Omar said that 1st phase of voting indicates that people don't want to go for boycott but wants to caste their precious votes."I hope that same enthiusiasm will be witnesses in Srinagar voting as well. I thank people of Bandipora and Ganderbal for casting their precious vote despite tough cold," Omar added.Meanwhile, Scores of party workers and supporters raised pro NC slogans outside DC office.
