Vigilance Nabs ASI And Inspector Warehouse Corporation In Graft Cases

The Vigilance Bureau in two different traps has nabbed an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) and Inspector, Punjab State Warehouse Corporation red handed while accepting bribe.Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that ASI Ajit Singh posted at Cheema, District Sangrur has been caught on the complaint of Jagtar Singh of Village Shero, District Sangrur.The complainant has alleged that ASI was threatening him to implicate in a false case and was demanding bribe of Rs. 3000 in lieu of that.

In another such trap laid by Vigilance Bureau Raman Kumar Inpector, Punjab State Warehouse Corporation was caught red handed accepting bribe or Rs. 7000. He was nabbed on the complaint of Varinder Kumar of village Hazipur district Hoshiarpur. Complainant has leveled allegegation on Raman Kumar for demanding bribe to verify the bills of paddy procurement.Acting on the tip off by the complainants teams of Vigilance Bureau headed nabbed accused while accepting the bribe.
