All cooperation and support will be given to Côte d’Ivoire – Kalraj Mishra

The Union Minister for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Kalraj Mishra, met Jean-Louis Billon,the Minister for Trade, Handicrafts & SMEs of Cote d’Ivoire here today and congratulated him for the successful implementation and monitoring of government policy on Commerce, Handicrafts and promotion of SMEs in line with the Foreign Policy of Cote d’Ivoire which is focused primarily on economic diplomacy after the 2010-11 post electoral situation in the country. 

Kalraj Mishra wished all success for the promotion and development of SMEs in Cote d’Ivoire and particularly for the introduction of “Phoenix Programme” and conveyed that more frequent institutional visits would go a long way in developing bilateral and mutual relations between both the countries. This would improve the growth of bilateral trade between the two countries. The Minister gave the delegation an overview of SMEs in India and wished to formulate strategic plan with mutual coordination and as to how both the countries could be benefited in SMEs sector. The Minister for MSME assured that India would be happy to favourably consider the requests of Cote d’Ivoire for assistance in SMEs sector for its promotion and development.
