Two killed in China furnace explosion

Two people were killed and 11 injured in a smelting furnace explosion at a factory in China's Yunnan province Monday.The accident occurred in the evening in Dingsheng Metallurgical Co. Ltd in Lushui County when a smelting furnace exploded, Xinhua quoted government authorities as saying. One person died at the site and another at the hospital while the injured were being given due treatment. The cause of the accident could not be immediately ascertained.
