Stay away from illegalprofiting: Syed Ali Geelani tells traders

Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani thursday send relief teams to the flood affected people of different districts of the Valley, asking the activists to remain cautious while distributing the relief material.According to the statement issued to KNS, Huriyat (G) spokesman said that all the creation is the family of Allah and it is our basic duty to serve the Allah’s creation at this hour of grief. Geelani sahib said that different delegation of people, who met him at his residence Hyderpora, complained that some traders taking advantage of the national disaster are selling the commodities particularly eatables at very high price. “He expressed sorrow over this and said that on the one hand the government is subjecting the people to the vengeance and on the other hand our own traders are using unkind ways to get more profit. Geelani sahib appealed all the traders and shopkeepers to stay away from illegal

profiting and hoarding and keep all the products available to the people,” reads the statement.

Geelani has also said that on this occasion of national disaster, we should be kind and helpful to each other and appealed people to be patient and help each other in this hour of grief. “A relief team headed by Tehreek-e-Hurriyat general secretary Mohammad Ashruf Sehrai which also include Mohammad Yousuf Mujahid, Syed Mohi-ud-din Andrabi and Mudasir Nadvi to Sambora, Kakpora and Lelhar areas of Pulwama. Sehrai sahib distributed 260 ration kits to the 260 families there and assured them that we will try to reach every

affected family of the area. Another delegation led by chairman Central Relief Committee Peer Saifullah visited Narabal and Sadapora areas of Budgam district where they distributed ration and other relief material to 150 families of the area. The said delegation

comprises of Mohammad Altaf Shah, district president Budgam Tashowq Ahmad Banday, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder, Abdul Majeed Rather and Mohammad Maqbool chadoora. District president Bandipora Rayees Ahmad also distributed relief material amoung the affected people of Nowgam Sumbal area while as a team led by Dr. Naseem Geelani distributed

ration and other relief material amoung the affected people of Seerbagh area. A medical team headed by Dr. G.M Ganai which also include Mohammad Ashruf Laya today held a medical camp at Abanshah and Khushipora areas of HMT Zainakote where they provided free treatment to hundreds of patients and distributed free medicine amoung them.Meanwhile while welcoming the release of Engineer Farooq Ahmad Khan from the Tihar jail, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu & Kashmir strongly condemned the life imprisonment sentence of Rajasthan Session court to the five youths of Kashmir Lateef Ahmad Waza, Ali Mohammad Bhat, Mirza Nisar Hussain, Abdul Gani Goni and Javaid Ahmad Khan.

Tehreek-e-Hurriyat termed the life sentence of five Kashmiri youths after 18 years in jail as political vengeance of India.  Hurriyat said that Engineer Farooq Ahmad Khan spent 18 long years in Tihar jail for no crime. A delegation led by district president Islamabad Mir Hafizullah visited the residence of Engineer Farooq Ahmad Khan and conveyed him the greetings of Hurriyat chairman Syed Ali Geelani and general secretary Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai and said that this great sacrifices are property of the freedom movement which will lead us to complete freedom from Indian occupation,” the statement mentioned.
