“Decomposing Carcasses and mounds of garbage’s accumulated at all localities is more dangerous than the flood. This is creating an alarming situation which can prove fatal if not removed immediately.  Rulers have failed in removing these Carcasses and even on 17th day today many localities still remain inundated, therefore people should themselves stand up and take the task of sanitizing in their areas and remove this garbage,” this was stated by the chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik today while speaking to the victims of recent floods in Lasjan area.Malik who visited flood hit areas of Soitaing, Wethpara, Lasjan, Bodipoar, Fish colony, Asthan pora, and other areas distributed relief goods among the needy people. While speaking on the occasion Yasin sahib said that Indian media on the 1st days of flood was busy glorifying the role of Indian army and state in rescuing stranded people but now nobody is bothered to even look into the miseries of Kashmiris. Our main markets at Lal Chowk, Budshah Chowk, Residency road, Moulana Azad road, Goni khan, Harisingh high street, Magarmal bagh, Saria Bala, Batamaloo, Karan Nagar, Bemina, Qamarwari, HMT, Barbarshah, Bandirbagh, Jawaharnagar, Rajbagh, etc are still under water and lots of garbage and hence danger of spreading diseases is looming large in Kashmir. Government of India and its local stooges have not even been able to sanitize these areas. Therefore we appeal to all the residents of these areas to stand up with a passion of self help approach and take the task of sanitizing their areas voluntarily.

Yasin sahib said that floods have changed the lives of Kashmiris. Lakhs of shops and business establishments have been totally devastated therefore turning thousands jobless. This alarming situation needs an early attention of Islamic countries and it is obligatory on OIC to ensure job opportunities on priority basis to these unemployed youth of Kashmiris. JKLF is delivering a letter in this regard to IOC secretary general that will be delivered to his office soon.  While visiting the markets at Budshah Chowk, Lal Chowk and residency road etc, Malik said that after watching the devastation that flood has caused is heartbreaking .He assured the traders and shopkeepers of every help and support in their efforts of seeking justice .Meanwhile JKLF district Islamabad organizer Mohammad Yousuf Mir of Mir Danter Islamabad died at medical institute Soura today. He was suffering from kidney disease. Zonal president of JKLF Noor Mohammad kalwal along with a delegation comprising of Mohammad ishaaq Ganai, Ghulam Qadir Hyder and Malik Javed participated in the jinaza prayers of the deceased. Noor sahib delivered condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of JKLF chairman Yasin Malik.
