Karamjit Singh Rintu distributes free school bags and uniforms to students in schools

Karamjit Singh Rintu, in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party's North Assembly constituency, distributed free school bags and uniforms to the students of School of Eminence Mall Road, School of Eminence Karmapura, Government Senior Secondary School Gol Bagh and Government School Naushera Khurd. 

Karamjit Singh Rintu said that the main objective of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab is to bring positive changes in the field of education and lay the foundation for a bright future for children by providing quality education and better facilities in government schools as promised.  

He said that the Punjab government has provided all the facilities in government schools, and the students are making good use of these facilities, getting good education, improving their lives and the lives of their families, and bringing an education revolution in the state.

On this occasion, Karamjit Singh Rintu honored Tia, a student of Mall Road School, who was selected by ISRO to represent India in the international Shakti satellite mission among students from 108 countries. He also honored the promising students of the school who cleared the NEET-2026 exam. 

He said that under the education revolution of the Punjab government, government schools of Punjab have reached the top. He said that all the modern facilities have been provided to government schools of Punjab. This is the reason why the number of students in government schools is continuously increasing.

Karamjit Singh Rintu said that while students of government schools are bringing glory to their schools and families by achieving academic and sports achievements at the district, state and national levels, they are also creating awareness about the evils prevalent in the society. 

He also appreciated the hard work, dedication and commitment of the school staff. On this occasion, Kanwaljit Singh, District Education Officer (Secondary Education), Amritsar, Rajesh Khanna, Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary), Amritsar, Principal and teachers of the schools, Narinder Dutta, Halka North Coordinator (Youth), students and staff of the school were also present.
