Renowned social activist, philanthropist and entrepreneur Karan Gilhotra was honoured with the Social Leader Award at the Entrepreneur and Achiever Awards, organised by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI). The award was presented by Rao Narbir Singh, Haryana’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, who attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
Alba Smeriglio, Deputy High Commissioner of the United Kingdom in India, graced the event as the Guest of Honour. Gilhotra was recognised for his outstanding contributions to social service, philanthropy and community development.
Accepting the award, he expressed gratitude for the recognition and said it would further inspire him to serve society with greater dedication and commitment. A co-founder of Plaksha University, Gilhotra has been instrumental in driving several initiatives in education, entrepreneurship and social impact.
Over the years, he has received numerous accolades for his contributions to youth leadership, philanthropy, entrepreneurship and community welfare. The PRCI Entrepreneur and Achiever Awards recognise individuals who have made exceptional contributions in their respective fields and created a meaningful impact on society through their leadership, innovation and commitment to Public .
