The "Bolega Kharar, Badlega Kharar" foot march, led by Shiromani Akali Dal's Kharar constituency in-charge Ravinder Singh Kheda, entered its seventh day on Saturday. The march continues to visit households across the constituency to document public grievances and civic issues.

Saturday's march covered Wards No. 9 and 10. It began from Gurdwara Sahib, Sunny Enclave, Sector 125, and passed through Sunny Club, 6-Raha Chowk, Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Market, Verka Booth, Sunny Enclave Police Post and the area's water tank before concluding at the main gate of Sunny Enclave later in the evening.

Addressing the gathering, Kheda questioned the claim made by the sitting MLA and former Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Maan that more than ₹1,000 crore had been spent on the development of Kharar, a claim he reportedly intends to showcase through a documentary. 

Kheda alleged that the Kharar Municipal Council currently has a treasury of ₹500–700 crore, comprising taxpayers' money, which should be utilized for essential civic services such as clean drinking water, sanitation, sewerage and drainage maintenance, and road repairs.

Kheda alleged that despite having surplus funds, the government had failed to spend the money on public welfare. He said residents of Ward No. 8 showed him memorandums submitted repeatedly to the SDM, MLA, Member of Parliament and various government departments, but claimed that no action had been taken.

Highlighting another issue in Wards 9 and 10, Kheda pointed out that the private builder responsible for developing the sectors had allegedly been arrested on fraud charges and was currently in jail.He argued that when a private builder fails to fulfil its obligations, it becomes the government's responsibility to provide basic civic amenities. 

However, he alleged that the administration had failed to intervene, forcing residents to spend nearly ₹50,000 each from their own pockets on road repairs and other essential infrastructure.Kheda also raised the issue of stray dogs in the area, alleging that several elderly residents and children had been injured in dog attacks. He demanded immediate government action to address the problem.

Speaking about the area's water tank, Kheda claimed that residents were informed by the Municipal Council that it did not have workers available to clean the tank and that the residents themselves would have to arrange labour. He added that residents had hired workers and cleaned the tank at their own expense nearly a year ago, but despite this, the water supply had still not reached the tank.

Reiterating the objective of the campaign, Kheda said the foot march aims to directly hear people's grievances and build public pressure on the administration to resolve them.Among those present during the march were Harbans Singh Sidhu, Balwinder Singh Patwari (Urban President), Harsimran Singh Binny, Aman Sharma, Minta Kharar, Sukhwinder Singh Goldy, and Balkar Singh Babbu.
