OSD Sukhveer Singh Interacts with Villagers During 'Lok Milni' Programmes at Katron and Ladda

OSD to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Sukhveer Singh, today interacted with residents during 'Lok Milni' programmes held at Katron and Ladda villages, listened to their grievances and directed the concerned officials to ensure their prompt and time-bound resolution. Addressing the gatherings, Sukhveer Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is maintaining direct engagement with the people to ensure that their concerns are addressed on a priority basis.

He said that government representatives and officials regularly visit villages to review ongoing development works and assess local needs so that welfare initiatives are implemented effectively and in accordance with public requirements. Highlighting the government's development agenda, he said that grants worth crores of rupees have been released for Panchayat-led development works in Katron and adjoining villages. 

He added that the government has ensured uninterrupted funding for rural development, resulting in record infrastructure works across the Dhuri Assembly constituency. He urged eligible beneficiaries to avail themselves of the benefits of the Mukh Mantri Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana, health insurance cards and other flagship welfare schemes by completing the necessary formalities in time. 

Reaffirming the government's commitment to public service, he assured that the entire administrative and political team remains readily available to serve the people. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation, Dalvir Singh Dhillon, said that the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Government is committed to inclusive and people-centric governance. 

He said that thousands of youths have secured government jobs through a transparent recruitment process, while major initiatives in education, healthcare, 600 units of free electricity and financial assistance for women are directly benefiting the people. He added that every policy decision of the government is guided by the welfare and aspirations of the common man.

Chairman of the Zila Parishad, Rachhpal Singh Bhullar, said that the State Government is undertaking development works on an unprecedented scale in rural areas, including the construction and upgradation of roads, streets, drains, drinking water facilities and other basic infrastructure. He said these initiatives have significantly improved the quality of life in villages and ensured that the benefits of welfare schemes reach every section of society.

Among those present were Chairman of the Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation Dalvir Singh Dhillon, Zila Parishad Chairman Rachhpal Singh Bhullar, Chairman of Block Samiti Dhuri Ranjodh Singh Kanjhla, Chairman of Block Samiti Sherpur Charan Singh, Chairman of Market Committee Tarsem Singh, Zila Parishad Member Harjinder Singh Kanjhla, Councillor Pushpinder Sharma, Gagan Jawandha, Block President Jagsir Singh, Sarpanch Gurvinder Singh, Sarpanch Amritpal Singh, besides a large number of party leaders, Panchayat representatives and village residents.
