DDC Kumar Abhishek reviews progress of works under District Capex Budget, Tribal Affairs Plan 2026–27

District Development Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek, today chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of works being executed by various departments under the District Capex Budget 2026–27 and the Tribal Affairs Plan Capex Budget 2026–27.

During the meeting, the DD Commissioner conducted a sector-wise review of ongoing and proposed developmental works, emphasizing the need for timely execution and effective utilization of allocated funds. He directed the concerned officers to ensure that all projects are implemented in accordance with approved timelines and quality standards.

The meeting discussed the physical and financial progress achieved under different sectors and reviewed the status of works taken up under the District Capex and Tribal Affairs Plan. The officers apprised the chair about the current status of projects, expenditure incurred and targets set for the current financial year.

He stressed the importance of close monitoring to ensure transparency, accountability and timely completion of developmental works. He urged the departments to remove bottlenecks, accelerate project execution and maintain inter-departmental coordination for achieving the desired outcomes. The meeting was attended by ADDC Krishan Lal, CPO Narinder Kumar, ACD Mukesh Sharma, Executive Engineers and BDOs.
