Public Works Minister Listens to Public Grievances During 'Lok Milni' Programmes at Wadala Johal, Talwandi Dogran, Wadali Dogran and Adda Tangra

Punjab Public Works Minister Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. today interacted with residents during Lok Milni programmes held at the villages of Wadala Johal, Talwandi Dogran, Wadali Dogran, and Adda Tangra in the Jandiala Guru Assembly Constituency. He listened to the grievances and demands of the people and assured them that their genuine issues would be resolved on priority.

Addressing large public gatherings on the occasion, the Public Works Minister said that the Aam Aadmi Party Government is a government of the common people and is committed to resolving public grievances by reaching out directly to the people instead of asking them to visit government offices. He said the government remains fully dedicated to ensuring transparent, prompt and effective redressal of people's problems.

S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. said that the Punjab Government has fulfilled the commitments made to the people during the Assembly elections. He highlighted that the provision of 300 units of free electricity every month, the establishment of Aam Aadmi Clinics to provide quality healthcare, and the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme, under which every family is entitled to cashless medical treatment up to ₹10 lakh annually, have brought significant relief to the people.

The Minister further stated that the state has witnessed a transformation in the education sector under the Education Revolution, with government schools being upgraded with modern infrastructure and improved academic standards. He said Punjab has emerged as one of the leading states in the country in the field of education. He also said that the Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana is another landmark initiative aimed at ensuring dignity, respect and financial support for women.

Speaking about the development of the Jandiala Guru Assembly Constituency, S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. said that the constituency is like his own family, and he has worked with complete dedication for its holistic development over the past four and a half years. He said the scale of development witnessed in the constituency during this period is unprecedented and far exceeds what previous governments could achieve over several decades.

He assured the people that development works in the constituency would continue uninterrupted and that there would be no shortage of funds for projects aimed at improving public infrastructure and civic amenities.The Minister reiterated that the Punjab Government remains firmly committed to the welfare of the people and that every genuine public grievance will continue to receive prompt attention and appropriate action.
