Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam today conducted an inspection visit to Primary Health Centres (PHC) of Bugam and Mohammadpora to take stock of patient care services and availability of essential medicines and other healthcare supplies.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various sections of both health institutions including OPD, IPD, laboratory, and pharmacy units. He reviewed the attendance of medical and paramedical staff and emphasized the importance of punctuality, discipline, and patient-friendly service delivery.

The DC interacted with patients and attendants to assess the quality of healthcare services being provided. He directed the concerned medical officials to ensure proper diagnosis, timely treatment, and compassionate care to all patients. A detailed review of the stock position of essential drugs, medical equipment, and other healthcare logistics was also undertaken.

The authorities were instructed to maintain adequate inventory at all times and ensure that no inconvenience is caused to patients due to shortage of medicines or supplies. The DC further stressed upon maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in and around the health institutions and directed for regular monitoring of sanitation practices.
