Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann Formally Launches the Scheme During a State-Level Function at Dhuri

The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, today took a historic step towards the economic empowerment and dignity of women by formally launching the Maavan-Dhiyan Satkar Scheme. During a state-level function held at Dhuri, the Chief Minister pressed the button to transfer the scheme's financial assistance directly into the bank accounts of lakhs of women across Punjab.

The historic initiative was welcomed with great enthusiasm and joy by mothers and sisters in the Amritsar East Assembly Constituency.Sharing details, MLA Jeevanjot Kaur said that although she was personally present with the Chief Minister at the main state-level function in Dhuri, a special programme was simultaneously organised in the Amritsar East Assembly constituency where a large number of women gathered to witness the launch of the scheme and celebrated the occasion enthusiastically.

Speaking to the media, several women expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and the Aam Aadmi Party Government. They said that the Mann Government has enhanced the dignity of Punjab's daughters and sisters and has always stood by them like a family in every situation. The smiles and happiness on the faces of the beneficiaries reflected the success and significance of the scheme.

MLA Jeevanjot Kaur thanked all the women who attended the programme and congratulated them on the launch of the scheme. She also shared an important message, saying, "Many beneficiaries have already received the financial assistance in their bank accounts today. Those whose accounts have not yet been credited need not worry at all. Due to banking and technical procedures, it may take some time, but the amount will soon be transferred to the accounts of all eligible beneficiaries."

Reiterating the government's commitment, the MLA said that the Aam Aadmi Party Government remains fully dedicated to the dignity, safety and economic empowerment of every section of society, especially mothers and sisters, and will continue working tirelessly for the development of the constituency and the welfare of its people.
