Integrated Health Screening Camp Organised Near Sai Baba Mandir, Sector 29

The Health Department, U.T. Chandigarh organised an Integrated Health Screening Camp near Sai Baba Mandir, Sector 29, providing multiple health services at one location to improve access to early diagnosis and treatment. The camp offered free screening for Tuberculosis (TB), HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, diabetes and hypertension.
The NTEP Mobile Diagnostic Van was stationed at the venue for chest X-rays and CBNAAT testing. Mobile ICTC services were also provided, where HIV, RPR, HBsAg and HCV screening was carried out.
Under the Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Programme, 60 individuals were screened. During the screening, four individuals were identified with hypertension, four with diabetes and one with both hypertension and diabetes. All of them were referred to the concerned health facility for further evaluation and treatment.

The Integrated Health Screening Campaign will continue on 30 June 2026 at Mandir Area, Sector 50, followed by camps at Dhillon Complex, Manimajra on 1 July 2026 and Motor Market, Manimajra on 2 July 2026. Residents are encouraged to visit these camps and make use of the free screening and counselling services being provided by the Health Department.
